MIGUEL LINARES RIOS

How to draw a landscape that tells stories

Miguel Linares is a famous serious artist. He is a participant of numerous exhibitions and a laureate of many awards. He uses different materials (watercolor, pastel, oil, acrylic). And he works in different techniques and styles - realistic landscapes and portraits, illustrations and comics, watercolor paintings ... It is hard to believe that for a long time he couldn't make up his mind about becoming an artist. He had many occupations before that - a carpenter, a handyman, a locksmith, even a butcher.
Recently, he prefers watercolors. His landscapes seem to be quite realistic at first. But if you look at them closely you discover a unique dreamlike and cozy world of its own.
